Frequently asked questions
How does the consultation work?
Send us photos of your space and tell us how you'd like to use it. One of our designers goes through it with you — usually by phone or WhatsApp — and comes back with a direction, a realistic scope and an idea of timing. There's no obligation to continue.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes — the first consultation costs nothing, and there's no obligation. If you'd like us to visit the space in person, or to produce a custom 3D design rather than working from our existing design directions, there may be a small fee depending on your governorate. We'll always tell you before anything is charged.
What types of spaces does Balconda design?
Balconies, rooftops, terraces, gardens, outdoor corners and shaded areas. We work on outdoor spaces only — we don't do interior design, and we'll happily point you to someone trustworthy if that's what you need.
Does Balconda work outside Cairo?
Yes. We're based in Cairo and work across all 27 governorates. Projects outside Cairo and Giza usually take a little longer to schedule because of travel and delivery — we'll tell you the realistic timeline before you commit to anything.
Can I send photos through WhatsApp?
That's the fastest way to start. Photos of the whole space, plus a couple from the doorway looking out, tell us more in thirty seconds than a long description does. Add your area and roughly how you want to use the space and we can usually give you a useful answer the same day.
Does Balconda handle installation?
Yes — our own team handles delivery, installation and the final styling. You deal with one team from the first idea through to handover, rather than coordinating a carpenter, a gardener and an electrician yourself.
